The No. 20-ranked Lafayette men's lacrosse team continued its early season perfection on Saturday afternoon, turning in a workmanlike 15-4 victory over Wagner at Rappolt Field.

Senior Ryan Hurley became the fifth player in school history to score 100 career goals, but it was his 102nd that gave head coach Jeff Tambroni his 100th coaching victory with an overtime game-winner, keeping the Big Red unbeaten with a 12-11 overtime victory over Amry on Saturday afternoon at Schoellkopf Field. The Big Red improved to 3-0 with the win, while the Black Knights fell to 1-3.

Senior Andrew Brancaccio (Bethesda, Md./Georgetown Prep) and redshirt junior Rickey Mirabito (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Forks) scored three goals each to lead the No. 14 Georgetown University men's lacrosse team (2-1, 1-0 BIG EAST) over St. John's (2-1, 0-1 BIG EAST), 9-6. The game was the first between BIG EAST Conference opponents in the inaugural season of BIG EAST men's lacrosse.

The Greater Washington Sports Alliance is pleased to announce the 2010 preseason Tewaaraton watch list. The list is made up of the top lacrosse players across all three divisions of collegiate lacrosse and are the early hopefuls for the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy. Watch list nominees are screened and selected by two Selection Committees. The Selection Committees are comprised of college coaches, one committee for the men and one committee for the women.

Freshmen Kara Cannizzaro and Emily Garrity scored three goals each and senior Kristen Taylor had two goals and two assists as the fourth-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse team beat No. 11 Vanderbilt 12-6 Friday evening at Fetzer Field. Tar Heel sophomore Becky Lynch and junior Corey Donohoe contributed two goals and an assist each in the win.
