Scott Cruwys Named a Midwest Region Player of the Week

ChicagoLax alum Scott Cruwys, and the rest of the Hinsdale starting defense were named Midwest Region Players of the Week by LaxPower.com

The Red Devils were the higher seed in the Illinois High School Lacrosse Association playoff game, but found themselves in a hole at halftime, trailing Lyons Township, 7-5. Hinsdale eventually went on to make it look like an easy 12-7 victory, but the Red Devils' defense pitched a shutout in the second half to advance them. They were led by three defensemen--seniors Harris Buddig and Scott Cruwys and junior Michael Tenerelli--as well as their senior goalie Jimmy Doheny.
